It's been about three years since I read Deathly Hallows, and for some reason, I have it in my mind that James Potter was born and raised in Godric's Hollow, but I can't find where I got the idea from. Is there a canon reference to this, or am I just going crazy? Is there anything to suggest he didn't grow up there?
